Mapminder: The Marathon isn't just a chocolate bar

MapminderCrazy people intent on destroying their knees on London cobbles at this year's Marathon (17th April) can prepare for the whole excruciating event using Mapminder.co.uk. The website is teaming up with Flora London Marathon to sponsor a series of training packs for beginner, intermediate and advanced runners. The website offers an online mapping service for plotting training runs, creating a training schedule, as well as providing an online community of fellow crazy people runners to help keep you motivated. Tips and advice will be available, and the 'Running Group' has been designed to to provide useful information and safety advice as well helping you to meet runners near you. The service costs £2.95 monthly, £7.95 quarterly, or £24.95 annually, but you can try it out for 30 days at no cost first.
