Cute Q1

Fujifilm

We’re big fans of the Fujifilm Q1 here at Shiny Shiny, as its curvaceous, compact design belies its budget price tag (£39.99). It is the perfect accessory for a girl’s night out and a far more stylish option than those frankly dreadful disposable cameras that should only ever be found on wedding tables or in the hands of very small children.

Fujifilm has just launched a new range in time for summer, which are sure to bring out the girl in all of us. The main attraction is the very bold, very pink and very flowery model, inspired by Italian designer, Emilio Pucci. It is also very now, as floral prints are this season’s hottest looks, *schweedie*. However, if it is a little too kitsch for your subtle tastes, there are six other colours to choose from: blue, neon orange, purple, silver, classic black and white/silver.

All feature red-eye reduction, auto film-wind, auto focus and an LCD screen that displays battery life and number of exposures left as well as a choice of two picture formats – classic and landscape.

Yes, you did read that right: this is an old-fashioned film camera. But even us gadget gals like to keep it simple on a boozy night out.
