Eco home building shows

Index_1 When you're renovating or building a home, magazines and TV programmes are useful but shows take things to a different level.  You can see demonstrations of how new products work and chat to people in the know.  I have already mentioned the Eco build show [see article here] on 22 /23 Feb at Earls Court.  But what I failed to do was enthuse about the show exhibits.  Green Bottle Unit will be showing off their jewel like Eluna recycled glass tiles.  Second Nature UK will be there with their natural insulation using wool from British hill sheep (see picture).  Check out the large display of green roofs and see the launch of new innovations in the energy zone.  Then there's the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show at the NEC Birmingham 2-5 March which will have a green village plus a daily seminar guiding you in ecological home design and sustainable construction.  They will be holding their dedicated Eco day on the 4th March.  If you can't make to the shows then check out the websites for a full list of exhibitors  - there's a great list of contacts and websites to get you started on that green grand design now!
