Recycled alternative to Jansport backpacks
It's not as handsome as the hundreds of Jansport backpacks you see over student shoulders, but this bag's a good deal greener. 98 per cent of the material comes from recycled plastic bottles - they're shredded and processed to create the semi waterproof exterior. Each bag is made from 12 two litre bottles, which is twelve less down the dump. It's called the La Original backpack and it's going for £40 over at Natural Collection, which has just had a spiffing site makeover.
