Waitrose's ethical citrus

WaitroseThere's a new label worth looking for when you're down the supermarket - the Waitrose Foundation logo. It'll be popping up on South African oranges, lemons, clementines, grapefruit and satsumas in Waitrose stores across the UK and is a guarantee that the citrus was produced ethically with the farmers in mind. Waitrose reckons the Foundation will raise £250,000 in this year alone, which'll be spent on social, educational and health projects for farm workers. The money will be raised solely through the supply chain rather than by raising prices. Read more on Waitrose's website and find a Waitrose store near you here.
