Camden: indie, pot - and green summer gigs

Climber15a_med_1When I think Camden, I think Barfly and Chris Evans flogging his possesions at the market. I don't think fabulous green mini-festivals, which just goes to show how little I know. On the 5th June, there's a superb-sounding Green Fair & Bike Fest happening in Regents Park. It's all about the usual stuff HippyShopper bangs on about, i.e. how to be greener in everything from shopping and transport to leisure and food. Attractions - on top of a sunny day in the park - include solar-powered gigs, stalls selling FairTrade and organic fare, an electric Grand Prix and plenty of organic beer. It's free, starts at 12 noon and takes place in the Cumberland Gate part of Regents Park (the bit on the east side by the posh houses). NB. crazy people climbing trees to drape banners are likely, but not guaranteed
