Sony PSP to get Internet browsing and email?
A software update for the PSP that expands Sony's handheld console's capabilities to include a scheduler, Internet browser and email has leaked onto the Internet. If the purported official "patch" turns out to be real, this would mean not only that the PSP would be a direct rival to most electronic organisers, but also online gaming via the PSP (without it having to piggyback on a PC) would be a step closer to reality. Also included in the unfinished patch (if you actually run it, it corrupts your PSP) are word processing, voice communication, text-to-speech and music downloading and organising software, as well as access to three games.
