Digital Camera USB Key

PendscHere’s a fab little gadget for aspiring Felicity Shagwell-style secret agents out there (we’re not sure there actually are any aspiring Felicity Shagwell-style secret agents out there, but run with us on this one for the sake of the story). The Adata Pen-DSC is from the same company that bought you the Lover Disk. It’s a 1.3-megapixel digital camera built into our favourite little obsession, the USB key. 64, 128, 256 or 512MB of storage space is available for keeping images and, once you’ve snapped pics, the files are ready to be transferred onto your computer via a USB port. Very clever. But that’s not all...

No indeed, the Adata Pen-DSC (why such a rubbish name Adata people? Run out of inspiration after the Lover Disk?) is also a web camera and digital video camera. You charge it via the USB port, and you can of course use it as a bog-standard USB memory key for data storage. No UK release news as yet, but the Lover Disk made it’s way over here, so there’s no reason why this shouldn’t. If it’s cheap, we love it, if it’s ridiculously expensive, get a megapixel cameraphone instead.
