Glam Clam

The VK 207i clamshell mobile is being marketed as the world’s slimmest colour phone. We’re not sure whether they mean that it’s the slimmest phone with a colour screen (which it patently is not), or if they’re just bringing our attention to the nice red and silver casing.

Whatever it is, one things for sure: this phone is aimed at the ladies in the audience. There’s a mirror on board for starters, and much mention is made of its suitability for slipping in a handbag (incidentally, who out there actually ever *slips* things in their handbag? We always sling stuff in ours in a whirlwind panic just before we rush out of the door).

While it’s not exactly over-burdened with features, we’re not too concerned about it - even us gadget-loving girls sometimes pine for a bit of simplicity. So we won’t spoil the good feelings we’re having about the VK 207i by mentioning that they’ve stuck on a biorhythm feature so you can “calculate” when you’re going to be prone to accidents, emotionally fragile or mentally
equipped to take an exam or interview. No pricing as yet.
