Solar Powered Fan Hat
If we're going to have a Christmas this warm, we may well need the Solar powered fan hat by February. Basically, it's a baseball cap with a solar panel on top, a hole in the bill, a fan stuck through the hole, and the whole thing toddles on and on. Actually it's intended to grace the Tokyo streets in summer '07, but maybe this once we can flip the situation and get the Japanese gadget long before they do? £8.70. [GT]

Hate to break it to you, but this gadget isn't anything new... I saw one of these in a curio shop on the Oregon coast 2 or 3 years ago...
I almost bought one just so I could tear it apart and play with the solar panel... but I never did... :(
