miYim Organic Toys
miYim is a range of organic toys for babies and children brought to you by Corgi, and another thing to add to the collection of things that are great gifts in their own right and happen to be eco-friendly.
How is a something like a toy organic? Well, the cotton from which these toys are made is organic from the off, with no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides every used in the cultivation process.
During the actual manufacture process, there's something called PureWaterWash™ which ensures that bleach and other nasty stuff normally used to colour cotton is replaced by plants and minerals like clove, chestnut bur and gardenia seed. Making a virtue out of inconsistency, the natural process means that no two miYim toys are the same.
My baby girl Amélie loves the toy. It complements her eco-friendly nappies very well because it reduces her exposure to synthetic stuff that might trigger allergies and helps contribute to a better future world for her. That's her in the picture looking very content sleeping with Annabelle Lamb, and I'm very tempted to buy her a little George monkey to add to it.
There are four collections of extremely cute and cuddly toys to choose from, the Storybook Collection, Puppet Theatre Collection, Peaceful Dreams Collection and Sleepy Time Collection, and the RRP is £19.99.
