Insect Lab Clockwork Insects

beetle_02.jpg

"Insect Lab," - and do pardon me, but I can't improve on the artist's statement - "is an artist operated studio that customizes real insects with antique watch parts and electronic components."  So they take preserved insects and annotate them with clockwork cogs and gears until they resemble clanks from Girl Genius.  Prices are in the £125 range, with each being, obviously, unique.  [GT]
