g=9.8 Lingerie made from trees

"The comfort of silk, the feel of cashmere, and the coolness of linen. The resulting pieces acquire surprising thermal regulating and anti-stress properties." Who wouldn't want a bikini with those properties? That they're selling well is no surprise. The surprise is, they're made from leftover tree prunings. The fabric is called Lenpro, and it's derived from white pine clippings (so you smell like Christmas all year round). It's also slightly paradoxical to think that this high-tech fiber is fully biodegradable and comes in pink and blue. (The name is derived from g=9.81m/s2, the figure for gravitational acceleration. But if you wear a g=9.8 bikini and fall in the water, you'll probably still hear it.) [GT]
