Susumu Suzuki's water powered battery

Suzuki_batterythumb

Too cheap to even put some fruit on your alarm clock? Susumu Suzuki has got a (sadly, only) prototype for you: a water-powered battery that even costs dramatically less than the conventional: about 1/10th the money. Naturally it's also much safer to dispose of than the heavy metal variety. The amount of water required to keep it going is apparently just "a lick" (so you can even keep the promise). [GT]
