TAKEGTF2 SuSu Bamboo Speakers

Bamboo_8941_large

Hot on the heels of our love affair with bamboo is the TAKEGTF2 SuSu Bamboo Speakers. They use bamboo's natural resonance to boost up the sound, which is great since they're non-powered - that is, non-amplified. They draw whatever power they need through the mini-jack. This makes them pretty convenient if you want to use them with your iPod (or other MP3 player, since, yes, there are other MP3 players in... some universe) and don't want to lug around any additional cableage. Apparently the bamboo is aged for 100 years and smoked magically into perfection. $199, which is on the steep side, but they are pretty cute. And they'd go perfectly with a bamboo paneled LCD. [GT]
