Cereplast brings biodegradable picnicware

Resin05_467x377

The good news about Cereplast is that it's a corn-based, fully biodegradable resin that's already available in disposable cup form.  Even better, they're moving into making picnic forks, coffee spoons and plastic knives that will compost into nonexistence in 2-3 years.  It also costs about the same as the regular kind, which makes it massively more likely to be picked up.  The downside is that it's corn based, which is an increasingly common allergen.
