swapXchange surprised me, I must say, for having a lot of high-quality listings, with offerings ranging from the TV set with a DVD player offered as a swap for a "2m/70cm dual band ham radio", or a new-in-shrink-wrap (unwanted prize win) Canon Ixus I-Zoom offered in exchange for a "camcorder".  Don't have a camcorder?  How about getting a Dyson DC05 for a "bottle nice (unused) wine"?  How about - holy crap, that's free?

Free vacuum cleaner, free minidisc player, free furniture.  Three-inch, six foot long slab of slate in exchange for fishing gear.  The best recent listing is for a grey Peugeot 205, hope to exchange for a scooter. Bear in mind that some of these are going back months, but there is a fair bit of interesting and recent stuff offered. Worth a look. [GT]
