Shumidor biodegradable shoe freshener

Shumidor

Damp and bacteria (read, sweat) can shorten the lifespan of your shoes, but chemical solutions are not such a desirable option either.  Solution?  The Shumidor from Michael Kritzer.  It uses a combination of ionic blade purification and "airisole" inserts to dry sweat and destroy bacteria.  The inserts are completely biodegradable and the purification process uses no chemicals, so your shoes come out completely fresh without adverse environmental issues.  (via Born Rich)

The Shumidor can dry three pairs of shoes at once, and the purification technology claims to be 'whisper quiet'.  Funky Kritzer prototype drawings are online via his portfolio at Coroflot.  [GT]
