Yumheart handmade DVDs with recycled classics
Yumheart is an Etsy store (and bargain hunter that I am, I love Etsy) run by a couple who handmake "beaded items, fabric and crochet, as well as hand made DVD video products."
Yes, hand-made DVDs, including packages of the old Superman serials. While a fair bit of their material is available for free download at archive.org, the Yumheart offerings are a convenient package with their own stamp. "We painstakingly digitize old public domain movies one by one, we compile them into DVD format and create an individualized artistic menu system for each DVD from scratch. We add personalized content, we design, print, hand cut and hand assemble the packaging. All items are created in our hand-crafted home, by family members, one at a time." And their home is hippy-powered in more ways than one.
Our entire
home is off-grid and powered by our home made hydro-electric earth friendly renewable energy system. No nuclear, fossil fuel or non-renewable energy was used to create these items! The earth, and your satisfaction is important to us.
Yumheart's Superman DVD pack is $3.49 USD plus $3.00 for international shipping -free shipping within the US. And they also have Reefer Madness! And Santa Claus Conquers the Martians! And actually, at $2.99 Classic Globalization Corporation Economy Films looks like it might be essential viewing. Yumheart DVDs, being hand-built in all practical ways and containing recycled vintage material, are essential hippy viewing.
