Second helpings please
Jeanette Orrey, aka The Dinner Lady, was making positive changes to school dinners long before Jamie Oliver became involved. Her first book showed simple family recipes enjoyed by children at her school, which advocated for local organic ingredients. She worked closely with the Soil Association and you can buy this book at their website. New out is a follow up book, 'Second Helpings' - more recipes to be enjoyed together in the home. I'll be putting in my order (RRP £18.99 but priced at £11.38 from Amazon) as all the recipes I have tested have been a big hit at home. [Ella]
