Dreaming of a green build

Whitehouse If you dream of an eco build or just want to use environmentally friendly materials as you renovate your home, then Green Spec is an invaluable on-line reference guide. I could spend hours reading their comparisons of construction materials, insulation, flooring and paints in relation to their effect on the environment as well as their benefit to the consumer.  There is a great section on green roofs including a detailed explanation of their construction.  The site points to further resources such as Living Roofs and also suppliers, including Green Roof.  Anyone with a real interest will surely be headed for the Eco Build 2006 show at Earls Court 2, London on 22 and 23 Feb.
