Retro green handbags
Sure, it's not very green to keep buying handbags but, to be honest, I can't get enough (and I don't think I am alone!). Luckily, companies such as Poppy Valentine make me feel a little better about my indulgence and its range of handcrafted bags made from genuine 1940's to 1970's vintage fabrics are very pretty. They come in several styles - such as the Betsy, pictured - and start from around £39 excl p&p. The designs, like the fabric, are limited and if you opt for their bespoke service you could have a unique bag. They will also make bags, cushions and clothing from your own vintage fabric. Now that would be a really special gift for valentine's day (a girl can dream, can't she?) [written by Ella]
