Eco Crib
For too long now, I've been singing the praises of ethical shopping and not all have been convinced. But interest in all things green appears to be growing as well as the products on offer - perhaps its something to do with the cool factor! When you see high street stores such as Mothercare getting in on the act you know that we may be in for a culture shift. It's early days but their 'Eco Crib' (£27.99) is made from heavy-duty recyclable cardboard that can be stored flat (ideal for travel). If the thought of putting your new bundle of joy in what's essentially a cardboard box concerns you, then admire its groovy colour and design and just think of how much it will wind up the in-laws! Brilliant. Great timing too, for my wife is pregnant (again!). And just having another child is enough to wind up the in-laws!
