Organic beer of the week: Freedom

Freedom_organic_lager_2If bottled beer went to art school, got a retro-cool haircut and started listening to Franz Ferdinand, it would probably look something like Freedom Organic Lager. There’s a whiff of advertising chic about the label as though it were pitching for the front row of an exclusive bar’s glass-fronted fridge. But there’s nothing superficial about the fantastic drop itself. A voluminous hoppy flavour with a delicious froth, this German-brewed lager actually nourishes your palate rather than strips it like most fizzy-pop lagers. And unlike your average art-rocking student, the taste is clean and pleasantly free of any chemicals. To you, £20 for a case of 12 at Freedom's partner shop. [by guest blogger Dominic Bates]
