Ethical water
I love this. Buy a bottle of One's Welsh mineral water and all the profits go to Roundabout, a South African charity that installs water pumps in African villages. Bearing in mind UK bottled water sales topped £1.2 billion in 2004, that could mean a whole lotta new pumps by next summer. Right now, you can only order One's water online in crates of 500ml plastic bottles, but the company's hoping to get stock in high streets soon. If you've got time, give One a helping hand and print this letter out to give to your local shop. Incidentally, if you were at Live8 or the Make Poverty History march you'll have swigged One already - it was the official bottled water for the events.
