Glasto tickets pricier than small house in Grimsby
Despite a warning from the organisers, touts still appear to be selling Glastonbury
2005 tickets on eBay and although a new system of photo identity recognition has been
introduced, it seems eBay-ers are determined to try and crack the system.
If you're male, there's one ticket currently being auctioned here but you might think twice as it will apparently cost you the same as a two bedroom semi in delightful Grimsby. Now we know New Order and The Whites Stripes are good, but £100,000 (surely some mistake). Another auction is asking for £500 for four tickets.
Just so you know The Sun reported yesterday that ‘those attending the June event will have to produce photo ID matching the name printed on their ticket. Festival organiser Michael Eavis is confident the new system is 'watertight'. He said: "No-one's going to get through the system this year at all. "Anyone who gets a ticket in this way is just wasting their money. It's a huge risk as there's no way they are going to get through the ID check."
