6 solar garden lights

Solar_lights Chances are, now the weather is getting warmer, you'll be spending a lot more time in the garden. Of course, this means sitting out until it goes dark getting drunk with pals. Fantastic. Well, if you don't want to sit in the dark, or use the spotlight off the back of your house and want something a little mellower, then you should take a look at these 6 ( (brand new) LED solar power garden lights.

They're approx 14 inches and require no wiring and use their own power. They're corrosion proof and automatically come on at dusk. You get up to 8 hours of illumination. Not bad at all. These usually retail for £5.99 each, but this deal could see you spending only £9.99.

Tales of Suspense #39, first ever Iron Man comic!

Ironman

"This", proudly boasts the seller, "TALES OF SUSPENSE#39 is the FIRST APPEARANCE of IRON MAN in MARVEL COMICS." Obviously, this is highly collectible and with the new Iron Man film out in the cinema, it's only getting more collectible. The comic is "in the vg+ range" and "the cover overlaps the pages slightly."

You may have noticed that Iron Man's outfit is somewhat different from the red and yellow one we're all used to, which surely only adds to the thrill of seeing him in his original state. As this is so collectible, the price will be pretty high on this one... but that's the state of play for all pieces of comic book history. The seller's page has some hi-res scans for those wanting a closer inspection.

12" custom Jerry Seinfeld action figure

SeinfeldI think this might be a bit of a collectable. What you have here is an foot tall action figure of Jerry Seinfeld, from the legendary US comedy show, er, Seinfeld.

Amusingly, this seller informs potential buyers that this is not a real Jerry Seinfeld, but in fact, a toy. So sorry to all of you who thought you were bidding on the man himself.

If you're interested in this figure, the seller has loads and loads of pictures and details on the eBay page.

Human fart in a jar... for sale.

Fart_in_a_jar

Over to the seller for this one as there's no way I can try to flog it to you... you can have it unedited.

"Alright up for action I have here A fart in a Jar... No, it's not a joke.   About 3 years ago I was eating a lot of junk food, and drinking a lot of wine coolers, and was just getting all wild in Crazy. Well I had the Bright Idea to Fart in the jar, and see what would happen. Well that was March of  2005.  I had all intentions of opening the jar myself and seeing what had happened to my putrid  fart.  But I just don't have the guts to open it. I still remember that night, and I remember how it rank it was. I can't bare to throw it away, but I can't stand to have it in my apartment anymore. I just feel that  I farted in this jar for a reason. I think that the reason was so one of you wonderful people could have what I just can't handle. This jar has never been opened since that night. Are you the one???" Click here if you are the one.

She will be glad to send a note stating where and when to the winning bidder."

Sammy Davis Jr's microphone up for auction!

Sammy_davis_jr_microphone

Quite rightly, this seller of this ace item starts the sales pitch with "Wow!" This microphone, owned by Sammy Davis Jr, was customized by Shure, Inc. and used from the late 60's through the 70's.

The engraving of his name was done by Shure, Inc. It is in working condition and, if you're in to the technical details of such things, the mic is a SM56 model, which is a dynamic moving coil microphone built to provide wide range reproduction of music and voice and featuring an exceptionally uniform and effective unidirectional pickup pattern. JemWith 80s hairspray rock back in vogue, it only seems fair to mention the Jem and the Holograms cartoon.

Buy a laptop from eBay

Dellinspironlaptop eBay is a great place to pick up bargains as well you know. If you know what you're looking for, you can sidestep the sales pitches and meet 'n' greet men to shop in peace and quiet. Some of the worst offenders, prone to leaping on you as soon as you walk through the shop door, are gadget salesmen. So, if you're looking for a laptop, then why not try eBay.

There's a middle boggling array of option, and you could pay anything from £130 upward. It's probably worth doing your homework first before blindly clicking 'buy'. It may be a good idea to get down the computer shop, get the sales people to decide what is best for you, then go home and see if you can get it cheaper on eBay.

Signed Rolling Stones guitar

Stones_guitar

The Rolling Stones are probably the most famous and celebrated band alive to day. Well, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood have released over 30 albums spanning a 46 year career selling more than 200 million albums worldwide and now, each have signed this beautiful Gibson Firebird V guitar.

Like most auctions of this kind, this is in aid of charity, with proceeds going to the Robin Hood Foundation. If Stones sigs and charity isn't enough, this bid comes with a copy of new Stones' LP 'Shine A Light' and a beautiful case for your guitar.

The Jam 'Move On Up' flexi-disc

Jam_flexi_disc

I've just been nattering about the humble flexi-disc, sadly, now defunct. The flexi-disc was a literally a flexible record, usually given away free with magazines or boxes of cereal (or a post office account in my case).

One great little flexi is The Jam's 'Move On Up'. As with all flexi discs, this item is a little bit crackly. The song is a live recording from Japan (catalogue number Paulo100) and was releases in 1982.

Full set of Nat West pig money banks

Natwestpigs

Do you remember the collectable pig banks from Nat West in 1980's? If you were like me, you were far too poor to get them all... however, that doesn't mean you can't have a full set!

The set consists of Woody, Annabel, Maxwell, Lady Hilary and Sir Nathaniel. Each pig in this collection is mint with no chips or cracks and all have the original stoppers (also a rarity these days). Each comes in the original box and is currently going for £200.

Antique bottle... complete with fossil.

Bottle_fossil

Over to the seller for this one...

"This is way better than seeing Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich, or thinking your potato chip is in the shape of the state of Indiana. This is real. This is a miracle! I bought a box of antique bottles and in sorting them out found this one exactly like you see it, with a fossil inside. The bottle is 6-1/2" tall, and on one side reads, "Guaranteed Union Made Flask". The opening at the top is 6/8 of an inch. There are seams up the sides. There is one very small chip at the bottle edge but other than being dirty this bottle is in great shape, and a really weird piece."

Original Wedding Album LP signed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono

Lennon_drawings

With the news that the lyrics for Give Peace A Chance are up for auction at Christie's, I thought it might be worth looking at some other Lennon pieces on eBay. So, up for grabs is an original Wedding Album LP  signed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

The LP is signed and inscribed on the inside front cover of the album box, “To Howard, with love from John Lennon &,” and “Yoko Ono,” Lennon adding a double caricature sketch of himself and Yoko.

The Wedding Album was the last in a series of three experimental albums by Lennon and Ono. Released in 1969, it comprises two long tracks, one on either side of the album. “John & Yoko” is a recording of Lennon and Ono calling to each other through a range of emotions over the sound of their heartbeats. “Amsterdam” includes interviews, conversations, and captured sounds during the couple’s famous “Bed-In” honeymoon following their marriage in March of that year. Elton John pinball machine

Eltonjohn_pinball

Elton John famously played a pinball whizz in Tommy, so it stands to reason that he should have his own pinball machine. So with that, let me introduce you to the lovely looking Captain Fantastic Pinball Machine.

The machine is in excellent working condition according to the seller, which is great for a machine which dates from 1976. Of course, this is highly collectable too. There's more pictures of this great item on the eBay page. Click here to see them or make a bid.

Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal fedora

Mjfedora

A rare custom made white "Smooth Criminal" fedora with black fabric trim and bow is up for grabs!  Whose? Michael Jackson!

This rare item has Michael Jackson's name embossed in gold in the inner rim.  Unlike the black fedora's that Micahel Jackson often donates to charity events.  The white fedora is far more rare.  This hat was acquired during a concert and was given to a member of the audience where we obtained it.

Arnold Scwarzenegger crystal dumbbell

Dumbell

What do we have here? Well, it's a rather unique item... notably... a dumbbell made from crystal. If that's not enough, it was also a gift from Arnold Scwarzenegger. Madness!

This item was originally a gift from Arnie to the major financial supporters of his campaign to become governer.

The item comes in a blue velvet box and sits atop a wooden plaque taht reads "Thanks for all the heavy lifting" followed by a signature. Did you read that quote in Arnie's voice? I did. Anyway, to bid, click here.

Fancy spending a day on a film set?

Film_set There's been a similar experience on offer before on eBay, with the film Waking Madison, which went down a treat, so now, the same people have arranged for you to bid on a "Day On Set" visit for new film Leaving Mississippi.'

The film will be shot in March/April of next year in New Orleans, Louisiana. Your personal day on set includes two nights in a hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans, round trip airfare if you are in the United States, a full day on set of the film Leaving Mississippi, transportation to and from the airport and to set and lunch with the director and producers.

One person who has done this before said "I have to say that when the time came to leave, I practically had to be dragged out of there. Even though it was 3am, I was learning and seeing too much to want to go. It will be a memory I'll keep with me for a long time."

Hybrid cars for sale on eBay

Prius

There's loads of hybrid cars on eBay, should you fancy a motor that's a little greener, like this 2006 Toyota Prius (click here).

There's loads of reason to be interested in hybrid cars. As these cars are powered by a mixture of a normal petrol engine and electricity, it means that you can ensure that you don't use as much fuel, both saving you valuable money and helping you to reduce your impact on the environment. Of course, they're not perfect, but it's a start.

Tina Turner wig

Tina_turner_wigDon't ask me why I was searching for a Tina Turner wig... maybe it's because I wanted to prove to myself that you can find almost anything on eBay if you look hard enough... maybe it's because I've got Private Dancer stuck in my head again.

Anyway, Tina Turner's famous 80s hairdo it is. This wig is brand new with a tag and comes from the Lacey Costume Wigs New York Collection. It's designed to fit "the average head, but will also adjust to fit a larger head as well." They fit men and women, but are not designed to fit children. If a child wanted one, I'd worry for it. Anyway, this is perfect for a fancy dress... just make sure you perfect your Tina strut first.
